April 3rd started out with an unfortunately site - wasted/infected beer (created and bottled 1 year ago). It is a sad day when I must face this reality.
But just when all seems lost and my whole world seems to be going down the shitter: This happens! Pizza and beer - both made here.
Zach also created a loaf of bread with the extra pizza dough - delicious! Thanks Zach. And thanks to everyone who was able to taste and see. It is nice when I can actually put my oven to good use.
On a completely different note: this is the dorm I will move to at the end of the semester. Named Community Center - or CC for short. It should be a grand 'ol time.
These cool cats in the foreground will also be moving up there with me - gotta love killuminati - the Class of 2014!
In other news, the boys are all set for quarter break which starts tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can relax a bit with only 25 boys in Hostel - the majority go OB/Out of Boarding. I guess there is a paint-ball place down in Dehradun, maybe I'll get the opportunity to do that next week.
To back up a bit: On Saturday, March 23, I enjoyed The Big Gig - an outdoor music festival on the hillside. Rockin' to live music on a nice sunny day is always a welcomed opportunity; plus I was able to perform a Jayhawks song with one of the acts - photos on fbook. I went on a wonderful hike through the rhododendron spotted hillside for Easter and recently enjoyed watching Celebration Day, a Led Zeppelin reunion concert from 2007, with a few boys.
Live long, y'all.
